Hello! I’m Angela from the Philippines. I majored in Accounting at Lingnan University. I previously tutored students preparing for the HKDSE in Mathematics and English, and also taught English pronunciation to young children. Hi everyone! My name is Aamnah, I was born and brought up in Hong Kong but I am ethnically Pakistani. I graduated with a bachelors in Social Sciences, majoring in psychology from the University of Hong Kong last year. I have been teaching English for over 5 years so trust you will be in safe hands. It’s always nice to see students improve after every tutorial session. In my spare time, I love travelling, meeting my friends and watching some kind of series. University life can be hard so feel free to drop by whenever to our ELSS drop-in centre to chit chat and at the same time improve your English!

Hello! I'm Afia from Ghana. I have lived in Hong Kong for over four years now and I majored in Psychology at City University of Hong Kong. I have always loved English language and literature so I even minored in English literature in uni. I love reading in my spare time and I try to read as much as I can from other cultures. Hey! I’m Willie from Malaysia. I graduated from HKUST with a bachelor’s in biochemistry and cell biology. During my undergraduate years, I discovered my passion for teaching as a tutor and a summer camp teacher. I find a lot of fulfilment in seeing students progress as well as supporting them on their journey.

Heyyyyyyy! I’m Anita from Nanjing, China. I studied International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and before joining Lingnan as a Visiting English Tutor, I worked as an IELTS Writing instructor in Beijing. Through teaching high school and undergraduate students with different backgrounds and language abilities, I discovered how much I enjoy helping people express their ideas confidently in English. Having studied abroad myself, I also understand that using English in an academic environment can sometimes feel a little daunting. I hope I can make the learning process feel more approachable for you. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, watching crime shows, travelling, and learning new languages.
