Documentary – Freakonomics

This documentary is produced by the ABC News television series 20/20 on April 14, 2006. It features interviews with the authors - University of Chicago economist Steven Levitt and New York Times journalist Stephen J. Dubner, of the 2005 non-fiction book Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything. The book has been described as melding pop culture with economics.

In the book, Levitt and Dubner argue that economics is, at root, the study of incentives. They talk about many relationships they discover which involve economics and social characteristics of our current civilization. The two economists also use interviews and statistical analysis to reveal their often surprising results.
